On Wednesday August 3, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in a message to his Iranian counterpart Seyed Ebrahim Raisi  expressed his condolences over the death of a number of Iranian people in the recent week-long floods, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

“It was with a sense of deep sadness that we received the news of great human casualties and material damage caused by torrential rain and devastating floods in some regions of Iran,” the message says.  

Emomali Rhmon expressed deep condolences to Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the friendly people of Iran and relatives and friends of victims.
