According to him, increase in the volume of the realized water is evidence of improvement of the enterprise’s work.

At the same time, there are problems to be resolved.  Among key problems facing the country’s housing-communal enterprise he named old pipes and irrational use of drinking water.

Inspections by the housing-communal enterprises have revealed cases of unauthorized connection to trains water pipelines, according to Mahmadjonov.   Speaking to journalists, the Tajik housing-communal enterprise top manager noted that at present they were doing work to resolve the problem of irrational use of drinking water.

“To resolve this problem it is necessary to install water meters,” Mahmadjonov noted.  “But neither we nor the population have funds necessary for installation of the water meters,” he said, noting that this issues may possibly be solved in near future.
