The event is staged by Arbitrazh (Arbitration) Public Association, with support from the British Department of International Development (DFID).
Nigora Astanova, public relations assistant at the Arbitrazh Association, said that representatives from the president’s office, the constitutional court, law enforcement agencies, NGOs active in Khatlon and international organizations as well as members of the inter-agency working group were participating in the meeting. They will present their recommendations to improve the draft law, which willl then be submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament.
“This law will promote arbitration tribunals in the country and improve people’s quality of life,” Astanova said.
