Kazakh Ambassador Atheist Madina Djarbusynova is elected to SOS Kinderdorf International (SOS KDI) International Organization, reported Kazakhstan Today with reference to MFA press office.
"Kazakhstan''s successes in development of family form of orphans'' up brining, were marked by members of SOS KDI General Assembly which was expressed in solid decision to elect Kazakh Ambassador Atheist Madina Djarbusynova to Organization''s Senate ," reads the press release. Kazakhstan is the first state of post-Soviet area which representative became one of 20 members of this supreme body-SOS KID, reads the message. 18th SOS Kinderdorf International General Assembly was held on July 3-5, 2008 in Innsbruck, Austria. 132 countries admitted idea of up-brining of orphans in children''s houses of family type as humanitarian. Kazakhstan has participated in SOS KDI since 1994 by the initiative of the First Lady, Sara Nazarbaeva. SOS Kazakhstan''s Children''s Villages was created in the frames of this project.
