Tajikistan stands by its position and calls for an inclusive government in Afghanistan. The imposition of any political system on Kabul without taking into account the opinion of the people can lead to unpredictable consequences, said Emomali Rahmon at the SCO summit in Dushanbe.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan once again called on the international community, in particular the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide emergency assistance to Afghanistan and the population of the Panjshir province, which has been in a complete blockade for about two months.

Emomali Rahmon noted that the main threats to security in the SCO space remain international terrorism, extremism, separatism, transborder organized crime, including drug trafficking and cybercrime.
