The Tajik national team won medals of various denominations at the youth boxing tournament in the city of Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported to “Asia-Plus” by the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Young boxer Anushervon Sidikov (33 kg) became the Asian champion among schoolchildren, and Akbar Abdulloev also took gold in this category in the weight of 58 kg. Firuz Boymatov (37 kg) won the silver medal, and Dilshod Sidjaev (35 kg) the bronze award.
Bilol Iksanov (54 kg) became the first in the championship among young men. Tajikistan's national team has four more medals in this age category. All of them are bronze, their owners are Umar Asrorov (63 kg), Abubakr Azizov (57 kg), Amirbek Mahramov (52 kg), Sorbon Nuralizoda (66 kg).
Tajik boxer Farinoz Abdulloeva (54 kg) became the best in the 54 kg weight class, and another athlete, Mino Azimzoda (60 kg), won the bronze medal.
According to the results of the competition in the “schoolchildren” category, Tajik boxer Anushervon Sidikov was recognized as the best athlete.
In accordance with the charter of the Asian Championship, the winners of the youth competitions will receive a reward of $ 6 thousand. The silver and bronze medalists will receive $3 thousand and $1.5 thousand respectively.
The students will receive a reward of $4 thousand, $ 2 thousand and $1 thousand.
In total, the national team of Tajikistan included 14 schoolchildren and 13 juniors. In addition, Tajik judge Akmal Abdulloev was involved in the competition.
