DUSHANBE, February 24, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan’s Education Ministry intends to introduce a single competition system of entering higher educational institutions, Haidar Odinayev, head of the science and education department within the President’s Executive Office, said.
Mr. Odinayev has noted that in accordance with this system, school leavers will pass examinations for entering higher educational institutions at the selection center that will be set up within at the Ministry of Education. “After passing the examinations school leaver will be able to select higher educational institution at which he/she wants to study,” said Odinayev, “This system is supposed to be introduced because some higher educational institutions in the republic have begun taking monopolistic positions on training of personnel on that or this specialty.”
He claims that such system of accepting students for institutions will allow regulating training of specialists at all higher educational institutions throughout the country.
