DUSHANBE, March 13, -- Now the world’s largest corporation on production of cellular phones – Finnish company Nokia – officially presents its output on Tajikistan’s market.    

Daler Amonov, director general of the “Arzon-Mobile” company, has told Asia-Plus that a cooperation agreement was signed in October last year and a series of shops on selling Nokia cellphones appeared in Tajikistan already in February and the “Arzon-Mobile” company acts as distributing firm “Cellphones realized through our shops are guaranteed for one year and they may be acquired in credit as well,” Mr. Amonov said, noting that prices have become more acceptable. 

 “Defining the prices, the Nokia experts have taken into account opportunities of potential buyers in Tajikistan ,” noted the “Arzon-Mobile” top manager, “It is to be noted that potential of selling the Nokia cellphones in Tajikistan is quite serious.”

Within the CIS area, Nokia has its representative offices in Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Russia and Uzbekistan , according to Mr. Amonov.  

Nokia applies global operating standards for business practices, transfers of technology, and management systems throughout its business units to help ensure implementation of its environmental policy.  Nokia has a broad and well-established environmental organization.
