DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus -- The seventh session of the coordinating council of the CIS states’ fiscal investigation body heads opened in Moscow today.
According to information from the Ministry of State Revenues and Tax Collections, Tajik tax police deputy chief, Qurbonazar Abdunazarov, is representing Tajikistan at this meeting.
This two-day meeting is aiming to consider issues of cooperation and interaction between fiscal bodies from the countries making up the Commonwealth of Independent State (CIS).
Participants in the meeting intend to discuss a progress of implementation of provisions of the interstate crime-prevention program designed for 2005-2007 as well as the program for cooperation in fighting trafficking in drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.
Besides, it is also planned to work out a draft reglament of carrying out concerted operations staged by fiscal investigation bodies from the CIS countries.
