DUSHANBE , March 31, Asia-Plus - A group of German businessmen led Reza Reshgin, director executive of the “Somerset GBI LTD” company, arrived in Dushanbe at the beginning of the week to negotiate the launch of a joint venture on producing TV and radio transmitters.    

Khushvakhtullo Aliyev, director general of the open joint-stock company “Teleradiocom”, has told Asia-Plus that the joint venture is supposed to be launched already this year.  According to him, the “Somerset GBI LTD” company in engaged in production and installation of digital telecommunications and TV and radio equipment and it plans to arrange production of this output in Tajikistan .   

“It is still premature to speak about sum that will be invested in the establishment of this joint venture because this issue is currently discussed in Germany ,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.  

At first, the German entrepreneurs intend to study Tajikistan ’s market to know whether this production will be profitable in Tajikistan .  

During his stay in Dushanbe Mr. Reshgin has also met with Niyozmurod Saidmurodov, chairman of board of the open joint-stock company “AgroInvestbonk”, Niyozmurod Saidmurodov, to negotiate opening of deposits and leasing lines for production of radio and telecommunications digital equipment in Tajikistan .   

Powerful TV and radio transmitters will be supplied to Tajikistan from Germany already next months, according to Khushvakhtullo Aliyev.
