DUSHANBE , April 3, Asia-Plus -- The open joint-stock company “Shabakahoi Barqii Shahri Dushanbe” ( Dushanbe electric system) has lifted electricity rationing introduced in some areas of the Tajik capital.  

According to information from the “Shabakahoi Barqii Shahri Dushanbe” company, the electricity rationing was lifted today.  The measures were introduced on March 18 to curb the city’s rising electricity consumption.  In addition to curbing rising consumption, the March 18 move also resulted from decline in the water level in the reservoir of the Norak hydroelectric power station, according to the source.
