U.S. MPAC national director arriving in Dushanbe today afternoon

, April 5, Asia-Plus - National Director of the U.S. Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), Ahmed Yunes, is arriving in
Tajikistan
today afternoon for a three-day visit.
According to information from the U.S. Embassy in
Dushanbe
, Ahmed Yunes is traveling to
Tajikistan
as a part of his tour of
Central Asia
.
The purpose of the visit is for Mr. Yunes to hold talks with representatives from Tajik intelligentsia, students and researchers engaged in oriental studies.
During his stay in
Dushanbe
a series of roundtable meetings on issues of attitude to Islam in modern society are expected to be held.
