DUSHANBE , April 17, Asia-Plus -- Graduates of Tajikistan ’s Agricultural University are going to work by specialty unwillingly, Saydali Gulov, pro-rector of Agricultural University for studies, told journalists on April 17.

The main reason for this is low wages, according to him.  “Thus, the Sughd province experiences serious shortage of agricultural,” said Gulov, “82 students from the Sughd province will have graduated from our university this year and all of them will be sent for working to Sughd.”

Izatullo Sattorov, rector of Tajik Agricultural University , speaking to journalists noted that 596 students graduated from the university last year.  Under new rules introduced in the university graduates will be sent for working to the provinces.  “They will receive their diplomas only after bringing documents certifying that they got jobs by specialty,” the rector said.

Of 370 internal students that graduated from Agricultural University last year, 350 or 94.6 percent have got jobs by specialties, according to the rector.
