DUSHANBE , April 18, Asia-Plus - Chairman of the Committee for Protection of State Borders of Tajikistan, Colonel Saydamir Zuhurov, has left for Minsk to take part at the 55 ^th meeting of the council of the CIS border troops commanders that opened in the Belarus capital of Minsk on April 18.  

According to information from Tajik border service, the meeting is aiming to consider issues related to coordination of activities of border services from the CIS states in fighting illegal migration and trafficking in persons.   

Besides, participants at the meeting are exchanging views on activities of the border services, modernization of materiel and armament, as well as on fighting international terrorism and other manifestations of extremism.  

The meeting will last till April 20.
