According to information from the Sughd police department, officers from the Sughd traffic police directorate jointly with officers from the Sughd department for visas and registration have detained two buses with 114 people on board at the “Qistakuz” checkpoint in the Bobojonghafurov district. The buses’ drivers -- Muhammad Mirboboyev from Bobojonghafurov and Yoqub Halimov from Konibodom -- were detained for violating migration requirements. Among the passenger there was also citizen of Uzbek region of Namagan Khayrullo Hasanov who was handed over to the Bobojonghafurov security directorate.
Besides, 16 conscript-age passengers were sent to the Bobojonghafurov military registration and enlistment office.
The Bobojonghafurov district prosecutor’s office has instituted criminal proceedings to investigate the matter.
