Air group of Russian military base to be deployed at Ayni airport in Tajikistan: Tajik air carrier head

, April 27, Asia-Plus - Reconstruction of military air field “Ayni”, some 20 kilometers west of
Dushanbe
, is ongoing, Hokimsho Tilloyev, Director General of Tajik State Air Company “Tojikiston”, told journalists on Wednesday [April 26].
According to him, on completion of the reconstruction work an air group of Russian military base will be deployed at the Ayni airport.
“At present Russian fighters and combat helicopters are deployed at the
Dushanbe
airport,” Hokimsho Tilloyev said.
It is supposed that five fighters and combat helicopters of Russian military base will be deployed at the Ayni airport.
