, May 3, Asia-Plus - On Tuesday May 2, on the eve of a World Press Freedom Day, Mass Media Program of the Tajik branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF) in cooperation with the “Payom” Public Association officially opened a project aimed at establishment of the Information and
Resources
Center
for Journalists in Qurghon Teppa.
According to information from the OSI/AF Tajik Branch, a multifunctional information and resources center will make available a broad range of services to journalists.
The center also will organize computer courses for students from the Journalism Faculty at
Qurghon
Teppa
State
University
and young journalists.
The center has six computers connected to Internet. Besides, a media library was established at the center.
