DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus -- Ms. Annette Dixon, acting regional Director of the World Bank (WB) for Central Asia, arrived in Dushanbe on May 29 for a working visit.
According to information from the WB Dushanbe Office, during her stay in Dushanbe Ms. Dixon will meet with senior representatives from a number of Tajik ministries and organizations to discuss a progress of the implementation of the WB-sponsored programs and projects in the republic.
On Tuesday May 30, Ms. Dixon is scheduled to meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov. Their talks are supposed to focus on state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan’s Government and the World Bank.
