DUSHANBE , July 3, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan is currently solving issues related to resumption of functioning of Tajikistan ’s Stock Exchange.

Mr. Bozorali Begmatov, the head of the Agency for Securities and Investment of the Ministry of Finance, says all appropriate documents on this subject have been worked out Tajikistan has adopted laws necessary for the Stock Exchange’s activity.  

“At the same time, banks, which are the potential players at this Stock Exchange, are not in hurry,” said Mr. Begmatov, “Besides we do not have professional personnel to work at the Stock Exchange.” 

Bozorali Begmatov has noted that the Tajik side negotiated with Russia ’s Stock Exchange “Russian Commercial System”, Kazakhstan ’s Stock Exchange and number of other stock exchanges the issue of training of personnel for Tajikistan ’s Stock Exchange.

Kazakh and Russian stock exchanges have expressed readiness to accept Tajik specialists for conducting two-month training courses for them free of charge, according to the Asia-Plus interlocutor.  “At first we plan to send four persons to Russia and Kazakhstan to take training courses,” Mr. Begmatov said.
