DUSHANBE, July 12, Asia-Plus -- In June, a rate of inflation in Tajikistan made 0.6 percent, according to information from the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
The Tajik central bank source says the inflation has resulted from rising prices of basic food products in the republic. Prices set by producers of food goods have increased by 0.8 percent on the whole, prices of non-food goods have increased by 0.1 percent and prices of paid services have increased by 0.4 percent, according to the NBT source.
Over the first six months of this year, the inflation rate in Tajikistan has amounted to on average 6..6 percent.
