DUSHANBE, July 14, Asia-Plus -- Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister, Mehdi Safari, is arriving in Tajikistan today for a two-day working visit, according to information from the Tajik MFA.
The source says during his stay in Tajikistan Mr. Safari will hold talks with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmonov, Foreign Minister Talbak Nazarov, and Economy and Trade Minister Hakim Soliyev.
During these meetings the sides are supposed to discuss state and progress of further expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries as well as issues related to the upcoming official visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Tajikistan, which is scheduled for late July.
