DUSHANBE , July 14, Asia-Plus - Documents submitted by candidates for getting TV-broadcasting license do not meet requirements of the licensing commission, Asadullo Rahmonov, Chairman of the TV and Radio-broadcasting Committee, remarked at a news conference in Dushanbe on July 13.   

“Lately, the opinion has grown up in many that the Committee allegedly does not give broadcasting licenses to independent TV stations intentionally,” said Asadullo Rahmonov, “It is wrong opinion.”   

According to him, the Committee is interested in television viewers’ having the right of choice.  “As soon as all documents are brought into compliances with requirements, the licensing commission will consider an application and the possibility of the commission giving license cannot be ruled out,” Asadullo Rahmonov added.
