DUSHANBE, September 5, Asia-Plus -- Monday evening, President Rahmonov received visiting head of Iran’s “Imdod” (Relief) Committee Said Reza Nayeri.
According to presidential press service, in the course of the talks the two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in various fields. The sides expressed satisfaction with development of relations between the two countries. During the meeting it was noted that Iran’s Imam Khomeini Relief Committee had supported the launch of a number of small enterprises, mainly for local women.
According to information from Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the CCI head Sharif Saidov yesterday met in Dushanbe with the first deputy head of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Izatulla Qaedi. The sides underlined the importance of establishing long-term cooperation in various branches of economy and agreed to make efforts to achieve this goal, especially in the view of the great potentials for cooperation in energy, education, healthcare, mining, road-building, and processing of farm produce.
