DUSHANBE, September 21, Asia-Plus - Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan handed over more than 100,000 new books to Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) in Dushanbe on September 20.
During his meeting with students and teachers at the university Abdulatipov touched upon on the globalization problems and foreign policy of Russia in the world and the Central Asian region.
On cooperation between the Russian Federation and Tajikistan, the ambassador noted that the two countries have good relationships in all spheres and actively cooperate in all regional organizations.
In his address, Abdulatipov also dwelled on problems of regional security in Central Asia and cooperation between member nations of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and the Shanghai Economic Cooperation Organization (SCO). “In all these organizations in Central Asia, Tajikistan holds the most consecutive position,” he stressed.
