DUSHANBE, October 10, Asia-Plus -- The 30 th session of the CIS energy council will be held in the Kazakh capital city of Astana on October 13. 

The session is aiming to consider a broad range of issues related to cooperation between the CIS member nations in the field of use of water and energy resources.  

Energy Minister Abdullo Yorov will head a Tajik delegation to attend this energy forum.  The Tajik delegation will consist of senior representatives from the ministry of energy and the Barqi Tojik (Tajik electric systems) power holding.   

A source at the Ministry of Energy said that the session will focus on preparation of energy companies for the autumn-winter period of 2006-2007 and working out an agreement on formation of a common energy market within the CIS area.  

Participants at the meeting will also consider issues related to working out legal and technical documentations for providing parallel work of electric systems of the CIS states and other topical issues concerning interstate and international cooperation in the field of energy.
