DUSHANBE, November 6, Asia-Plus - “I have voted for development of civil society,” Olimjon Boboyev, candidate of the Party of Economic Reforms for president, told journalists today. He cast his vote at polling station # 3 of the Firdavsi constituency in Dushanbe.
The present presidential election is a new step towards development of democratic society in Tajikistan, according to him. The Party of Economic Reforms of Tajikistan has campaigned for agricultural and economic reform.
Two observers from Kyrgyzstan are monitoring the voting process at this polling station. According to them, the voting process at polling station # 3 has been prepared well.
This polling station number 1,595 voters, and 23 percent of voters have come to the polling station by 8:00 a.m.
