DUSHANBE, November 15, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan and International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed a memorandum on cooperation, presidential press service reported.
Oqil Oqilov, Tajikistan’s Prime Minister, and Antuan Kursel Labruss (phonetically spelled), IFC Technical Assistance Program Coordinator at the IFC Department for South Europe and Central Asia, signed the document in Dushanbe on November 14.
During the meeting it was noted that the document is of important significance for development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Tajikistan.
Oqilov appreciated IFC’s support for development of Tajikistan’s economy. Labruss, for his part, expressed gratitude to the Tajik Government for assistance in the implementation of this project, according to presidential press service.
