DUSHANBE, December 8, Asia-Plus - Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov will receive the European Union Special Envoy for Central Asia Pierre Marel (phonetically spelled) today afternoon, presidential press service reported.
The EU special envoy arrived in Dushanbe today for a two-day visit. According to information from the German Embassy in Dushanbe, during his stay in Tajikistan the EU diplomat is scheduled to meet with high-ranking Tajik state officials to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union.
