DUSHANBE, June 28 — Officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) have stopped an attempt by drug traffickers to smuggle a large amount of drugs into Dushanbe.
According to the counternarcotics agency, their officers confiscated four packages containing some four kilograms of raw opium from a local resident on the Zarnisor market in Dushanbe Wednesday morning.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pusher, and an investigation is under way.
