DUSHANBE, January 29, Asia-Plus -- The first 200 teachers without special pedagogical education will graduate from a special externship next months, Asia-Plus has learned from Parviz Saidov, a spokesman for the project management unit of the Ministry of Education.
According to him, these 200 teachers were competitively selected from 344 teachers working with schools in Vahdat, Roghun, Kulob, Vose, Fayzobod and Nourobod.
“They studied two years for an external degree and 144 of them are currently taking their examinations and will be given certificates in February,” Saidov said.
In the meantime, 56 teachers from Roghun and Nourobod could not arrive in Dushanbe to take examinations because of bad weather conditions and examinations for them have been postponed until summer, the spokesman said.
This two-year externship was organized for teachers without special pedagogical within the framework of the education development support program.
We will recall that according to the Ministry of Education, Tajikistan now has 6,865 teaching vacancies.
