DUSHANBE, June 28, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A three-day conference of representatives from business communities of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan has opened in Dushanbe today.
Organized by Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Kazakhstan’s National Agency for Export and Investment, KAZNEX INVEST, the conference is being held at Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel, the CCI press center reports.
Afghan entrepreneurs are also attending the forum, the source said, noting that the main objective of the meeting was in promoting expansion of trade and economic cooperation, attraction of investment for development of Tajikistan’s economy and launch of joint ventures in Tajikistan.
According to him, senior representatives from some 40 Kazakh companies have arrived in Dushanbe to attend the forum that will end on June 30.
