The Soghd province grain growers have collected 109 thousand 629 tons of grain today. Based on the information of the Agriculture Department of the Province, wheat crop was harvested at 63 thousand 738 hectares of crop land as of 27 August, which is 93.7 per cent of the annual plan. 68 thousand 049 hectares of land were planted with crops.
As reported to Asia-Plus by the Head of Soghd Agriculture Department, Alisher Dadabaev, in parallel with wheat collection in agricultural farms, re-sowing of grain continues. As of 28 August, re-sowing is completed in 14 thousand 254 hectares of land, which is 95 per cent of the annual plan.
It is planned to re-sow in 15 thousand 011 hectares of land, according to Mr. Dadabaev.
