Spitamen Bank and Tajrupt.ai will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications (apps) to issue microloans beginning on April 1.

Spitamen Bank will implement an artificial intelligence algorithm developed by Tajrupt.ai and will use this model for issuing micro loans in the amount of up to 10,000 somonis in a pilot mode.

Bank customers will be able to receive replies on their credit applications in two branches of Spitamen Bank in Dushanbe – Guldasta and Sakhovat – in ten minutes without income certificates.

Tajrupt.ai plans to introduce its artificial intelligence algorithm in three other banks until the end of the second quarter.

AI applications for lending and loan management make companies effective, smarter and customer-oriented.

Spitamen Bank, with headquarters in Dushanbe, now has sixteen branches across the country, including five located in Dushanbe.

Spitamen Bank started its Microcredit Deposit Organization in the country as Spitamen Capital in 2008 leading to a banking license from the National Bank of Tajikistan by 2014.  The company holds the license for banking operations in both local and foreign currency.

In 2013, the Closed Joint Stock Microcredit Deposit Organization 'Spitamen Capital' was named the winner of the BID International Arch of Europe Award; an award presented to organizations focusing on a high standard of quality.

Currently, Spitamen Bank is considered one of the most active and technology-driven banks in the country.
