Tajikistan increases electricity supplies to neighboring countries by a third

Electricity exports are currently possible only to two countries -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
Over the first four months of this year, Tajikistan has supplied more than 11.2 million US dollars’ worth of electricity to neighboring countries, which is 30.8 percent more than in the same period last year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
