Tajikistan exported US$82.3 million worth of electricity in Jan-Aug this year

In January-August this year, the majority of Tajikistan's electricity—over 80 percent—has been exported to Afghanistan; file photo / e-cis.info.The Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan says that over the first eight months of this year, Tajikistan has exported electricity to neighboring countries worth US$82.3 million, which is US$2.8 million of 3.3 percent less than in the same period last year.
