Starting from April 14, Tajikistan’s privately-owned airline, Somon Air, will resume regular flights on the air route Dushanbe – Krasnoyarsk – Dushanbe. This was announced by the airline's press service to Asia-Plus news agency.
Flights will be operated once a week on Mondays. The flights will be carried out on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft, which ensure a high level of safety and comfort, the company stated.
Departure times: from Dushanbe at 13:30, from Krasnoyarsk at 20:50 (local time). The flight duration from Dushanbe to Krasnoyarsk is 3 hours and 45 minutes, and the return flight takes 4 hours.
Tickets are available for purchase through the official website somonair.com, the mobile app, and at ticket offices.
The company added that the resumption of flights between Dushanbe and Krasnoyarsk reflects Somon Air's commitment to expanding its route network and providing convenient connections between key points in Tajikistan and Russia.
Somon Air is the first private airline in Tajikistan with an office headquartered in Dushanbe. The airline operations are based at Dushanbe International Airport. The airline started operating on February 5, 2008 with regular flights to Moscow and Dubai.
Somon Air is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Somon Air's fleet consists of Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 family aircraft.
The company is focused on expanding the route network of air transportation and the fleet, and currently operates regular flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkiye, China, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
