On October 25, the capital of Tajikistan will host the AI Conf 2025, an international artificial intelligence conference organized by the Artificial Intelligence Council under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, in partnership with zypl.ai and Area AI, and supported by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Thanks to the attention and support of President Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan is rapidly establishing an artificial intelligence ecosystem, becoming a new hub for global tech players. Today, Tajikistan’s AI industry has already secured partnerships with leading AI companies from countries such as France, the USA, UAE, and others. Collaborative initiatives span a wide range of areas, from the development and commercialization of large language models (LLMs) to implementing AI solutions across various sectors.

The conference will bring together representatives from the government, global tech companies, research centers, startups, and venture investors. It will serve as a key platform for discussing AI development strategies, showcasing national initiatives, and establishing international partnerships.

National AI projects to be showcased

Among the highlights of the conference will be presentations of Tajikistan's national AI projects, including:

  • SoroLLM, a language model trained on a vast corpus of Tajik texts, including educational and synthetic materials (over 1 billion words), demonstrating high accuracy in Tajik language processing.
  • darya.ai, the first AI cluster in the region based on NVIDIA H200, powered by renewable hydroelectric energy.
  • Area AI, an innovative project that introduces the region's first AI Free Zone, complete with an AI academy and research labs.
