Tajikistan increases cement production amid growing demand

A new cement plant,which was opened near Dushnbe in 2023; photo: Tajik president's official website.Over the first nine months of this year, Tajikistan produced over 3.7 million tons of cement, marking an increase of 512,100 tons or 15.8% compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
