KHUJAND, February 22, Asia-Plus - One-month-old baby has been killed in a fire in the northern district of Spitamen.   .

According to information from the Sughd firefighting service, the fire broke out in a residential building in the district last week, killing the one-month-old baby.  The results of investigation launched into the cause of the fire have shown that careless use of “sandali” (Tajik national heating stove) caused the fire.   

According to the Sughd firefighting service, nine fires that have broken out in the region since the beginning of the year killed two persons and left one another with burns.
