KULOB, March 2, Asia-Plus - A two-month operation, dubbed “Himoya” (Protection), carried out by the Farkhor firefighting service has resulted in preparing protocols on violation of fire-prevention measures against 40 of 57 inspected enterprises in the district, the firefighting service chief Ismoil Karimov remarked at a meeting with journalists.
According to him, administrations of those 40 enterprises have been fiend a total of 1,700 Somonis.
Karimov stressed that practically no one enterprise in the district properly satisfies requirements of the fire-prevention measures. “In order to avoid the possible tragedy we have suspended four of the inspected enterprises from functioning,” the Farkhor firefighting service chief said, adding that they will submit a detailed report with specific recommendations to the district authorities.
