, March 30, Asia-Plus - Young Tajik woman, resident of the Vahdat district, has been brutally killed in
St. Petersburg
.
According to information from the Tajik Embassy in
Moscow
, the 33-year-old Nargis Sultonjonova was killed not far away from the house in which she was living on March 17. Unknown persons attacked her. Nargis Sultonjonova was stabbed (she received four stab wounds in her neck) and bled to death. The assailants fled the scene of the crime and police launched search for them and prosecutor’s office instituted criminal proceedings to investigate into matter.
Nargis Sultonjonova’s body was transported to
Tajikistan
by the flight St. Petersburg-Dushanbe on March 23.
The Tajik Embassy keeps up with the course of the investigation.
