DUSHANBE, April 23, Asia-Plus - Another Tajik national has been killed in an attack in Moscow.
Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary at the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, said that a dead body of a 41-year-old Tajik national Khudoyqul Choriyev was found at the Beryozovaya Roshcha Proyezd (passage) in Moscow late Saturday, April 21.
According to Egamzod, Tajik Consul Tohir Ahmadov has met with law enforcement authorities from Moscow’s Khoroshevsky district on this subject.
The police in the Khoroshevsky district have launched an investigation into the attack, which could be racially motivated.
According to some Russian media, Russia’s Interior Ministry is monitoring 150 extremist groups in Russia, especially race-hate groups, which have a total membership of around 10,000. About 80% of the extremist groups'' members are under 30, and most are based in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Samara and Voronezh regions, according to the ministry''s data.
