DUSHANBE, June 25, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A mild tremor measuring 2.0 on a 12-point scale jolted Tajik capital Tuesday night, at 11:26 p.m., according to the Dushanbe seismological station.
The source at the Dushanbe seismological station said that the quake had been centered on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, some six kilometers of Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province and 223 kilometers of Dushanbe.
The magnitude in the epicenter was 4.0-5.0 on a 12-point scale. No casualties or damage have been reported so far, according to the source.
