KHUJAND, April 27, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Five persons were killed on April 26 as two vehicles collided in Sughd province, according to the Sughd traffic police department.
The accident took place in the Ghonchi district, 256th kilometers of the Dushanbe-Chanak highway Monday evening.
“A Nexia sedan collided with a heavy truck MAZ,” said the source, “As a result of the collision, the Nexia driver and his four passengers died on the spot; the cause of the accident is under investigation.”
