DUSHANBE, January 27, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdumajid Dostiyev is continuing to visit Moscow hospitals, where Tajik nationals wounded in the January 24 blast at the Domodedovo airport are receiving care, according to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.

Yesterday, he visited the Sklifosoky Emergency Institute, where the 39-year-old Nourullo Hasanov is receiving care, and the Burdenko Neurosurgical Institute, where the 41-year-old Salim Silmanov is receiving care.

Doctors say Nourullo Hasanov is on the way to recovery and he was transferred from resuscitation ward to the general hospital room yesterday. 

In the meantime, the 41-year-old Salim Silmanov who sustained serious injuries in the Domodedovo blast is critical and specialists from the Burdenko Neurosurgical Institute are struggling to save him.  “According to doctors, Salim sustained serious shrapnel head wound and lost much blood.  Doctor operated on him on the same day, but he is still critical,” the source said.

Yesterday, Ambassador Dostiyev met with relatives of Salim Silmanov who arrived in Moscow on January 25.

Dostiyev also visited the Botkin Institute and hospitals ## 15 and 83 on Wednesday.  Doctors say Tajik nationals receiving care in these hospitals are now in good condition.

In the meantime, according to some sources, the number of Tajik nationals wounded in the Domodedovo blast rose to 19.
