DUSHANBE, January 31, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Three children died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Sughd province last Saturday.
According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the tragedy occurred in one of villages in Bobojonghafurov district.
“Three children 12, 15 and 16 years old got carbon monoxide poisoning while warming themselves around sandali (Tajik traditional stove),” said the source, “Medical workers who came to the house failed to save them.”
