DUSHANBE, February 12, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Four persons were killed and at least one other was injured on February 11 as two vehicles collided in Sughd province.
According to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate, the accident took place on the 16th kilometer of the Isfara-Konibodom road.
“The 50-year-old Mahfuziddin Umarov violated traffic regulations and his Lexus crashed into Opel-Vectra,” said the source, “As a result of the collision, the Opel driver and his three passengers died on the spot, while one of passengers of Lexus sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.”
