DUSHANBE, May 4, 2011, Asia-Plus – Drunken woman hijacked a minivan and ran it into tree, according to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate.
The source says the accident took place in Dushanbe Tuesday evening. “Sadbarg S., 35, being in a state of drunkenness, hijacked an eight-seat Chinese Chanhu minivan belonging B.M. and when moving along the Kamol Street she could control the vehicle and ran it into a tree,” said he. “Fortunately, nobody suffered but the minivan was seriously damaged.”
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
