QURHGON TEPPA, June 29, 2011, Asia-Plus -- One more of victims of a blast at one of natural-gas refueling stations in Khatlon province has died.
We will recall that one person was killed and at least three others were injured in the blast at one of natural-gas refueling stations in Bokhtar district on June 25. The accident took place Saturday afternoon at one of natural-gas refueling stations in Bokhtar district. Sedan Nexia blew up while refueling.
Ibrohim Atovulloyev, a chief prosecutor of Bokhtar district, says the Nexia driver, Odiljon Mehmonov, 39, died on the spot, while three other drivers – Zafar Nazarov from Hissar district, Avaz Sharipov from Khuroson district and Zohir Ashourov from Vakhsh district – sustained various burn wounds and were taken to the Bokhtar central district hospital. Zafar Nazarov, 27, died in the hospital on June 26.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
