DUSHANBE, October 15, 2011, Asia-Plus – According to the representative office of Tajikistan Migration Service in Moscow, only Tajik nationals were involved in a mass fight that occurred in Moscow on the night of October 11-12.
The source says the fight involving some 20 people occurred at around 11:30 pm. As a result of the fight, four persons, namely H. Zubaydulloyev, 27, N. Torayev, 22, A. Manatqulov, 22, and I. Qurbonov, 32, were wounded and they are currently undergoing medical treatment at one of Moscow hospitals. Zubaydulloyev and Torayev reportedly sustained stab wounds, while Manatqulov sustained a fire wound to his cheekbone.
The Moscow law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and H. Zubaydulloyev and I. Qurbonov have been detained on suspicion of having started the fight, the source added.
We will recall that earlier it was reported that the mass fight had occurred between Tajik and Uzbek migrant workers.
